Knitting/Crochet

This is a jumbo needle twice knitted blanket for my daughter.
I first knitted 1 massive strip on my addi circular loom . It took 45 skeins of 100gr acrylic yarn and that is handcranking mind you. My shoulder was shot to pieces after that one for a while. Then the strip was knitted on my jumbo wooden knitting needles that I handmade.

 Anyway here it is in all of its heaviness and glory and she loves it. I have used 2 different shades of white.
It is truly very very heavy and really pretty. This one took me three months to do.

  

Here are just a few projects that I have done over the past couple of years. I knitted and crocheted a few jumpers for myself as well.

Baby double flannelette train bunny rug with matching burp bib with crochet edging . I machine sewed the bunny rug and then crocheted around it. Also a couple of others below.

A picot edge knitted newborn jumper with matching hat and booties.

I love the picot edge , it finishes the little jumper beautifully.
